Was heading to market bazaar to FINALLY do some shopping today when I got the call that I was flying home a day early & be ready in hour!

Dr? Lawyer? No, but my mom will be proud that her son is popular as a sword swallower in Qatar, a country she's never heard of!

Yesterday I went to the Falcon Market in Doha and people mimed sword swallowing, then said in Arabic, "You, swordman, on TV!"

Everywhere I go here in Qatar, people tell me in arabic they saw me & enjoyed my show! Apparently they broadcast my shows on Qatar TV!

Slept a much-needed full 6 hours last night. Still groggy from cold meds, but starting to feel better today. Need coffee.

Band practice was rough at church tonight. Now heading to Thrivent board meeting in Decatur.

Kitten update: Only 2 survived, cold & abandoned, so had them indoors on a heating pad while looking for their mama. Reunited & doing well!

Just heard mewing in the barn-2 newborn white kittens & a warm wet stillborn black1 near bowls came back to life in my hands! More coming!

Well, this adventure's not over yet! We got to within 30 mins of Genoa, & the capt says we have technical difficulties & are returning to Paris!

Yeay! I am FINALLY on my flight from Paris to Genoa! Long 2 days of traveling and waiting! Next stop: Genoa Italy on the Mediteranean coast
